Bali Nutra Coconut Syrup is harvested directly from the coconut tree. We started using the term Coconut syrup in 2013 because of the similar production method to maple syrup. Coconut Nectar and our Bali Nutra Coconut Syrup is the same product. Larger companies have shied away from this term because companies like Monin use a lot of added sugar to their sweeteners and have a reputation to call themselves syrups also.
